dc.description.abstractPráce je zaměřena na popis principů Business Intelligence (BI) a výzkum jejího použití v oblasti malých a středních podniků (MSP). První část je teoretická. Nejprve je popsán vývoj BI, definována její současná podoba a vymezen vztah k podnikovému informačnímu systému a softwaru. Dále jsou popsány principy BI. Představeny jsou jednotlivé komponenty a jejich části. Závěr ukazuje návrh možného obecného komplexního řešení BI. Druhá část vychází ze světové studie společnosti Gartner a segmentuje trh BI do kategorií. Dále jsou popsána nejvýznamnější softwarová řešení pro MSP největších světových dodavatelů BI (společností SAP, Microsoft, Oracle a IBM) a shrnuta úskalí spojená s výběrem dodavatele. Závěr predikuje vývoj BI do roku 2020. Třetí část je praktická a věnuje se SAP BI na FEK ZČU, konkrétně modulu SAP BW běžícím na platformě SAP NetWeaver 7.0. Závěr práce je věnován vytvoření on-line dotazníkového průzkumu použití BI v MSP a jeho vyhodnocení. Práce ukazuje, proč je BI jednou z nejperspektivnějších oblastí podnikové informatiky. Může sloužit jako podpora předmětů elektronické podnikání (KEM/EPO) a podnikové informační systémy (KPM/PIS) vyučovaných na ZČU. Důraz byl kladen také na typograficky správné zpracování celé práce.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis focuses on Description of Principles of Business Intelligence (BI) and Application Research in Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). The first part of this thesis is theoretically oriented and describes the BI evolution, finds the present definition and specifies the relationship to the business information system and software. After that follows the description of the principles of BI, i.e. the components are taken to pieces. The final part shows the possible comprehensive BI solution. The second part is based on Garner's Magic Quadrant for BI and Analytics Platforms Study. After that the most significant BI software solutions for SME of the magavendors SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and IBM are described and problems with the supplier selection are summarized. The final part forecasts the BI evolution until 2020. The third part is practice-oriented and explores the SAP BI at the Faculty of Economics on SAP BW part of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 platform. The final part of this thesis focuses on the on-line application research in SME and its evaluation. The bachelor thesis shows, why the BI is the most perspective business informatics area. It can be used as a support of the e-business and business information system subjects. It is also high-quality typographically elaborated.en
