dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá diabetem mellitem II. typu a jeho prevence, což je v současné době velmi rozšířené téma. Teoretická část zahrnuje popis diabetu mellitu, jeho historii, epidemiologii, komplikace diabetu mellitu a také rizikové faktory, které se podílí na vzniku diabetu mellitu II. typu. Dále zahrnuje vymezení prevence diabetu mellitu II. typu a její oblasti, mezi které spadá správná životospráva, pohyb a psychohygiena. Praktická část mé bakalářské práce zpracovává výsledky z mého dotazníkového šetření a zjišťuje, jakým způsobem dodržují vybraní respondenti zásady správné životosprávy, se zaměřením na prevenci diabetu mellitu II. typu a jeho prevence.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor's thesis concerns Diabetes Mellitus Type II and its prevention. The history, epidemiology, and complications of Diabetes Mellitus were discussed within the theoretical portion of this thesis, as well as the risk factors of Diabetes Mellitus. Further, a limited discussion of the prevention of Diabetes Mellitus was included, wherein suggestions were made to ensure a healthy lifestyle consisting of exercise and mental hygiene. As a follow-up to the theoretical portion, within the practical portion of this bachelor's thesis is a discussion of the results of a survey. This survey was presented with the purpose of finding how the chosen population is following the rules of healthy lifestyle to prevent Diabetes Mellitus Type II.en
