| dc.description.abstract | Předmětem zde předložené bakalářské práce je překlad studie o jazykovém vývoji bilingvních dětí, který je doplněn glosářem a komentářem. Zároveň je doplněn přehledem teorie překladu zabývající se typy, metodami a postupy překladu a definující tři časté překladatelské problémy. Hlavní použitou metodou byla práce s paralelními texty, protože osvojení české terminologie bylo pro přesný překlad nezbytné. Volba vhodných ekvivalentů a struktury vět byla prováděna za účelem co největší srozumitelnosti pro české čtenáře, zároveň byl ale kladen důraz na zachování vědeckého stylu a původní myšlenky výchozího textu. Následně byl sestaven glosář terminologie, která se ve studii objevila, a všechny jevy, které nastaly během procesu překladu, jsou probírané v komentáři. Český překlad velmi zajímavé anglické studie zkoumající dětský bilingvismus a jazykový vývoj by měl sloužit jako nový zdroj informací pro české čtenáře a díky kombinaci teorie a skutečného překladu také jako inspirace pro další překladatele začátečníky. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | Subject of this present thesis is a translation of a study on language development of bilingual children accompanied by glossary and commentary as well as overview of translation theory discussing translation types, methods and procedures together with defining three frequent translation problems. Work with parallel texts was the central method being used, as acquisition of Czech terminology was vital for precise translation. The choice of equivalents and sentence structure was made with regard to the best possible comprehensibility for Czech readers while still preserving the features of scientific style and the original idea of the source text. A glossary of terminology from the study was compiled. All frequently occurring phenomena in the translation process are discussed in commentary. A Czech translation of a very interesting English study on childhood bilingualism and language development was made to serve as a source of new information for Czech readers and also, because of the combination of theory and translating, as an inspiration for other translation novices. | en |
