| dc.description.abstract | Počátkem 21. století byla Baumgartenova latinská Aesthetica (1750, 1758) přeložena do němčiny, což přispělo ke komplexnímu studiu Baumgartenovy původní koncepce oboru. V příspěvku se vracíme k tomu, že jeho pojetí estetiky jako nauky o senzitivním, smyslovém poznání dostalo jasné obrysy už v Baumgartenově rané rozpravě o básni (Meditationes philosophicae de nonnullis ad poema pertinentibus, 1735). Příspěvek se zabývá strukturou tohoto spisu a ozřejmuje na něm zároveň epistemologický a rétorický rozměr Baumgartenovy estetiky, s ohledem na novější oborové bádání. Poukazuje rovněž na doteky a míjení mezi Baumgartenem a moderní literární vědou (Jakobson, Doležel aj.). | cz |
| dc.description.abstract | At the beginning of the 21st century, Baumgarten's Aesthetica (1750, 1758) was translated into German, which contributed to a comprehensive study of Baumgarten's foundations of aesthetics. Here we return to the fact that aesthetics as a science of sensory knowledge had already had clear contours in Baumgarten's early Reflections on Poetry (Meditationes philosophicae de nonnullis ad poema pertinentibus, 1735). This article outlines the background and structure of the treatise and shows the epistemological and rhetorical dimension of Baumgarten's aesthetics. First, it explains the idea of sensory knowledge in the context of the rationalist foundation of Baumgarten's thought. It then traces how Baumgarten analyzes the poem as a kind of speech that escapes abstract, conceptual discourse and yet exhibits order and a specific perfection (the poem as oratio sensitiva perfecta). In this context, it focuses on Baumgarten's early introduction of terminology more familiar from his Aesthetica (extensive clarity, aesthetic light, richness...). Finally, Baumgarten's use of poetics and rhetoric in his project of aesthetics is noted and shown as theme resonating in contemporary scholarship. A few comments on Baumgarten's points of contact with modern literary theory (Russian formalism, Doležel's theory of fictional worlds, etc.) are added. | en |
