dc.description.abstractHlavním cílem této práce podrobná analýza je biologický dopad, význam a historický původ praxe svazování chodidel v Číně. První část práce se zaobírá biologickým pohledem na chodidlo pro lepší představu dopadu praxe na ženskou nohu. Praxe svazování významně deformovala nohu vlivem tlakových bandáží a omezila základní pohyb. Tradice svazování chodidel měla v Číně tisíciletou tradici a její počátek není přesně datovaný. Původ je pouze odhad na základě antických příběhů. Jeho působení je odhadováno od 13. století a konec praxe nastává v 19. století. Konec byl požadován Čínskými literáty, ale jeho ukončení bylo prací Západních misionářů jejíž myšlenky poté převzali i Čínské ženy. Praxe svazování je skvělým příkladem praxe, která výrazně omezovala a podřizovala ženy. Její ukončení mohlo proběhnout díky spojení několika sfér, jako např. politické, ekonomické a sociální, pro zlepšení postavení žen a převedení Číny do moderní doby.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe main aim of this thesis is detailed analysis of biological impact, significance and historical practice of footbinding. The first part of the thesis is about biological view of the normal foot for better imagination of impact of the footbinding practice on female foot. The footbinding practice significantly deformed foot under the influence of pressure bandages and limited the basic movements. The footbinding practice in China has a thousand years of tradition whose beginning is based on poems and ancient stories but it isn´t exactly dated. The operation of practice has been estimated since the 13th century and the end of the practice occurred in the 19th century. The end of practice was requested by Chinese writers but its definitive ending was the work of Western Missionaries whose thoughts were later taken over by Chinese women. The practice of footbinding is a great example of a practice that greatly limited and subordinated women. Its end could have been due to the connection of several spheres, such as politic, economic and social sphere, to empower women and transfer China into modern times.en
