dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá překladem odborného textu na téma britské historie 19. století s komentářem a glosářem. První část této práce se zabývá základní teorií překladu a je dále rozdělena na překlad, metody překladu, roli překladatele a populárně naučný styl. Následuje praktická část, která se zabývá překladem dvou úryvků z knihy The Victorians (Viktoriáni) od Jeremyho Paxmana. Třetí část obsahuje komentář rozdělený na makroanalýzu a mikroanalýzu. Makroanalýza se zabývá výchozím textem, mikroanalýza se zabývá analýzou překladu. Po komentáři následuje glosář, který je tvořen výrazy obsaženými ve výchozím textu.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with the translation of a text on 19th century British history with a commentary and a glossary. The first part of the thesis concerns the basic theory of translation and is further divided into the translation, the methods of translation, the role of the translator and the popular scientific style. Following is a practical part which deals with the translation of two extracts from the book The Victorians by Jeremy Paxman. The third part contains a commentary divided into macro approach analysis and micro approach analysis. In the macro approach analysis, the author is concerned with the source text; the micro approach analysis contains the analysis of the translation. After the commentary there follows a glossary which consists of the expressions contained in the source text.en
