dc.description.abstract-translatedThis study provides a comparative analysis of the digital labor market in Germany and the Czech Republic, using job posting data from the first week of September to the first week of October 2025 from LinkedIn. The authors investigate the distribution of job types, sectoral trends, geographical distribution, and hiring patterns across both nations. The research employs a large-scale data collection methodology, and the analysis utilizes Natural Language Processing API and statistical techniques to identify key differences. Findings indicate that both countries share a focus on growth in Information Technology, with Germany showing in total of 11,402 job postings compared to 6,971 in the Czech Republic (n = 11,402 in Germany; n = 6,971 in the Czech Republic) in the 30 largest cities (based on population) from both countries. The German market continues to demonstrate sustained demand for traditional sectors, including ealthcare (431 postings) and manufacturing (724 postings). In contrast, the Czech Republic’s market exhibits concentrated demand in IT (1,415 postings) and manufacturing (158 postings). Analysis of work mode preferences reveals similar patterns, with remote work comprising 59% of German postings and 61% of Czech postings, while onsite work accounts for 33% in Germany and 31% in the Czech Republic. This research offers an empirical cross-sectional study of these economies, contributing valuable insights for talent acquisition, policy development, and career guidance.en
