dc.description.abstractTato Diplomová práce pojednává o problému odhalování a trestání korupce v České Republice. Korupční jednání je velmi významným a aktuálním problémem většiny států světa. Práce vytváří ucelený obecný přehled pojmu korupce, příčin jejího vzniku, různých forem a druhů. Hlavním obsahem práce je rozbor právní úpravy upravující trestné činy úplatkářství, mezinárodní závazky s tím spojené a aktivní boj proti korupci na vládní i nevládní úrovni. Také je zde dán důraz na srovnání se Slovenskou právní úpravou, jako nejbližším geografickým i kulturním sousedem našeho státu. Cílem práce je analyzovat problematiku korupce, vymezit prostředky potírání této trestné činnosti a zhodnotit dosavadní právní úpravu.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe diploma thesis explores the issues of detecting and punishing corruption in the Czech Republic. Corruption practices are a very significant and pressing problem of most countries in the world. The thesis provides a comprehensive general survey of the concept of corruption, including its causes and its various forms and types. The core part of the thesis analyses the legislation regulating the corruption offences, the associated international obligations, and the active fight against corruption on governmental as well as non-governmental level. Furthermore, it presents a comparison with the legislation of the Slovak Republic as the closest geographical and cultural neighbour of the Czech Republic. The objective of the thesis is to analyse the issues of corruption, to define the means of fighting this criminal activity, and to assess the legislation which has regulated it to date.en
