dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce na téma Využití Business Intelligence pro management organizace se zabývá vztahem českých firem a Business Intelligence. První část práce vymezuje samotný koncept, jak z obecné perspektivy, tak i technické. Následuje popis vlastností dat v tomto systému, včetně jejich následné přeměny na znalosti. Část je zakončena definicí firemních předpokladů pro implementaci Business Intelligence. Druhá část obsahuje dotazníkové šetření a jeho výsledky. Dotazník zkoumá postoj českých firem k danému konceptu a způsob jakým nakládají se svými daty. Spolu s dotazníkem je v této části provedena analýza volně dostupných Business Intelligence nástrojů. Finálním výstupem práce je zhodnocení výsledků dotazníku v kombinaci s analýzou nástrojů, což je použito jako podklad pro doporučení manažerům organizace, jak dále postupovat.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThesis on the subject of Application of Business intelligence in company management deals with relationship between Czech companies and Business intelligence. First part of the thesis defines the concept both from general and technical perspective. Next up is description of data in this system, including their transformation to knowledge. Part is closed off by defining prerequires for implementing Business Intelligence in a company. Second part contains survey and its results. Survey examines attitude of Czech companies towards the concept and the current way of working with their data. Together with survey this part also contains analysis of freely distributable Business Intelligence tools. Final output of the thesis is evaluation of the survey results combined with tools analysis, which serve as basis of recommendation for the future course of action for company management.en
