| dc.description.abstract | Tato kapitola se zabývá úlohou svobody a tvořivosti ve specifické formě umění východní pravoslavné tradice – v ikonopisu. Sleduje situaci, která byla poznamenána hlubokou nesvobodou – po bolševické revoluci v Rusku, kdy docházelo k masovému pronásledování a exilu. Za pomoci Pavla Florenského nejprve zkoumá, jestli, a pokud ano, tak jak, tradice může sloužit jako pevná půda pod nohama, která zároveň člověku otvírá osvobodivý potenciál. Pak se zaměří na chápání nestvořeného světla a ikonografických pravidel u Leonida Uspenského. A nakonec, za pomoci současného kanadsko-amerického ikonologa Richarda Schneidera, nabídne kritickou reflexi zaměřenou na to, jak nestát tvořivé a osvobozující moci umění v cestě. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The paper considers the role of freedom and creativity in a specific type of art, namely Eastern Orthodox iconography. Looking first at the situation of deep unfreedom caused by the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia and the subsequent mass persecution and exile, it investigates with the help of Pavel Florensky whether, and if so how, seeing tradition as a ground on which one can walk safely could unlock creative and liberating potential. It then examines how Leonid Ouspensky further developed Florensky’s understanding of the transfiguring light and iconographical rules. Finally, with the help of the Canadian iconologist Richard Schneider a critique is provided, and with it reflections on how not to get in the way of the creative and liberating power of art. | en |
