dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se soustředí na různé pojetí tolerance, která je patrná zejména v dílech Emilia Galotti, Židé a Moudrý Nathan. Pro adekvátní orientaci v Lessingových dílech je na začátku práce stručně popsáno historické pozadí. Práce je napsána na základě teoretických spisů, které toto téma teoreticky definují. Patří k nim zejména čtyři koncepce tolerance, přičemž některé z nich jsou ve zpracovaných dílech uplatňovány. Mimo jiné se zde řeší otázka, zda-li je účinnější cesta směrem ke smírnému konci, nebo k tragické smrti hrdinky patřící ke společenské vrstvě, ke které by u publika měl být vzbuzen soucit. Pro porovnání s dalšími autory tohoto období se práce věnuje také Friedrichu Schillerovi, který zpracovává podobnou látku ve své měšťanské truchlohře Úklady a Láska.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe focus of this bachelor thesis is to distinguish various views on tolerance and how it is perceived by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing. There are two ways of viewing on this issue. Firstly, the good ending in Nathan the Wise, where the protagonists find out about their true religion which leads to understanding and compassion. Secondly, in Emilia Galotti the protagonist dies because of the unequality in the society which leads to death. In addition, the religious tolerance is obvious in The Jews, where prejudices hinder accepting a member of another religious group as an equal human being. The are four conceptions of tolerance that help to understand the main questions of the thesis.en
