dc.description.abstractTématem práce je dedukce v detektivní literatuře. Konkrétně přístup (nejen) k tomuto pojmu z oblasti logiky v detektivních příbězích spisovatele Václava Erbena. Cílem práce je nalézt v detektivkách Smrt talentovaného ševce a Bláznova smrt logické úsudky v rovině přirozeného jazyka, převést je do jazyka formální logiky a pokusit se na ně aplikovat zákony výrokové logiky. Tento postup zároveň ověří správnost způsobu uvažování, resp. platnost usuzování, kapitána Exnera. Dílčím cílem je provést následné srovnání užitých forem logických postupů v knižním a filmovém zpracování zvolených detektivních příběhů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe topic of the thesis is deduction in detective literature. Specifically, the approach (not only) to this concept from the field of logic in the detective stories of the writer Václav Erben. The aim of the thesis is to find in the detective stories The Death of a Talented Shoemaker and The Fool's Death logical judgments in the level of natural language, to convert them into the language of formal logic and to try to apply the laws of propositional logic to them. This procedure will also verify the correctness of Captain Exner's way of reasoning, or the validity of his inferences. A sub-objective is to make a subsequent comparison of the forms of logical procedures used in the book and film treatments of the selected detective stories.en
