Abstract

Vhled studentů do jazyka a chápání podstaty problémových jazykových jevů jsme ověřovali a prohlubovali finálovými úkoly OČJ. Student prokazoval schopnost samostatného úsudku tím, že pracoval s jazykovým materiálem, a klasifikoval ho: na základě předložených definic měl posoudit, zda vybrané příklady jsou bezproblémovou elipsou, nebo nepochybně zeugmatem, přechodným jevem, nebo ničím z toho; pak zobecnit poznatky získané rozborem. Podstatou dalšího úkolu byl fakt, že každé podstatné jméno může být rozvito alespoň jednou vedlejší větou přívlastkovou vztažnou. Nakonec soutěžící měli vyvrátit platnost pravidla: „V žádné české větě nesmějí za sebou stát více než tři slovesa v určitém tvaru oddělená pouze interpunkcí“, a uvést příklad, který tvrzení vyvrací. Ukázalo se, že zajímavý jazykový materiál a úvahy nad ním přemýšlivou mládež těší a že by mohly výuku učinit přitažlivější.

Students‘ insight into language and understanding of the nature of problematic linguistic phenomena was tested and deepened by the final OČJ tasks. Students demonstrated their ability to make independent judgements by working with and classifying the linguistic material: based on the defi - nitions provided, they were asked to classify whether the selected examples were a problem-free ellipsis, or undoubtedly a zeugma, a transitional phenomenon, or neither; then to generalise the knowledge gained from the analysis. Th e essence of the next task was the fact that every noun can be elaborated by at least one adjunct relative clause. Finally, the contestants were asked to disprove the validity of the rule: „No Czech sentence may contain more than three verbs of a particular form separated only by punctuation“, and to give an example that disproves the statement. It turned out that interesting linguistic material and refl ections on it were enjoyed by thoughtful young people and could make teaching more attractive
