Abstract
Dvojici protagonistů této studie tvoří německý malíř Emil Nolde a ruský skladatel Sergej Prokofjev.
The third study of the thematic cycle of the 2024 edition EXPRESSION AS A SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE OF THE WORLD focused on expressionism as a concept that was first used in Germany. This raised a number of troubling questions: 1. The place of Expressionism in the emerging avant-garde period of the early 20th century; 2. Is Expressionism a specifically German movement rooted in the early Middle Ages or is it an international tendency; 3. The relationship between the unity and diversity of Expressionism; 4. The polarity of Expressionism, resulting in several currents. The pair of protagonists of this study are the German painter Emil Nolde and the Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.
