dc.description.abstractPředkládaná diplomová práce má za cíl představit základní předpoklady dvou odlišných teoretických tradic - teorie racionální volby a kritické teorie - a ty následně aplikovat na fenomén náboženství. Metodologicky se práce opírá o analýzu dokumentů klíčových zástupců těchto teorií a tedy také o komparaci základních principů obou teorií. Konkrétně jsou zde analyzovány práce teoretiků první a druhé generace tzv. frankfurtské školy (T. Adorno, M. Horkheimer, H. Marcuse, E. Fromm, J. Habermas) a hlavní práce nejvýznamnějších představitelů teorie racionální volby (R. Stark, W. Bainbridge). Práce přináší také zhodnocení obou přístupů - představuje základní argumenty proti těmto teoriím a shrnuje také to, čím mohou ke studiu náboženství přispět.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis master thesis aims to present the basic assumptions of two different theoretical traditions of rational choice theory and critical theory and show how these different bases could be applied to the phenomenon of religion. Methodologically the work is based on document analysis of key representatives of these theories and therefore also on comparison between the basic principles of both theories. Specifically, here are analyzed works of theorists of the first and second generation of the Frankfurt School (T. Adorno, M. Horkheimer, H. Marcuse, E. Fromm, J. Habermas) and the main works of the most important representatives of rational choice theory (R. Stark, W. Bainbridge). This paper also brings appreciation of both approaches - introduces the basic arguments against these theories and also summarizes with what they can contribute to the sociology of religion.en
