dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce "Překladatelské a tlumočnické služby v OSN" si klade za cíl poskytnout čtenáři komplexní přehled o organizaci Spojených národů a jejích jazykových službách, jež umožňují fungování OSN. Nejdříve je popsán vznik OSN, její účel a struktura tak, že čtenář je schopen snadno plně porozumět dalšímu obsahu této práce, který pojednává především o tlumočnických službách a okrajově také o překladatelských službách v rámci Organizace spojených národů. Při zpracování témat týkajících se OSN autorka pracovala především s aktualizovanými elektronickými zdroji. Informace týkající se tlumočení pochází z autorčiných vědomostí nabytých během studia v Česku a Německu doplněné především informacemi z filmů "The Interpreter" a "The Interpreters: A Historical Perspective (Interpreting at the UN 1945-1995)" a ucelené poznatky z knih od Ivany Čeňkové a Jeana Herberta.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor thesis "Translation and interpreting services in the UN" is to provide a comprehensive overview of the United Nations organization and its language services, which are to enable a smooth performance within the UN. Initially there is described the UN; its formation as well as its purposes and structure so the reader is able to understand easily the following content of the bachelor thesis, which includes primarily the interpreting services and marginal also the translation services. When processing the topics concerning the UN, the author worked mainly with updated electronic sources. The information related to the interpretation comes from the author's knowledge gained during her study in the Czech Republic and Germany, which are supplemented by information from movies "The Interpreter" and "The Interpreters: A Historical Perspective (Interpreting at the UN 1945-1995)" and completed by findings from the books written by Ivana Čeňková and Jean Herbert.en
