dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá využitím metody storytellingu ve výuce angličtiny na prvním stupni základní školy. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na žáky mladšího školního věku a specifiku vyučování těchto žáků. Dále popisuje metodu storytellingu jako prostředek učení anglického jazyka, věnuje se přínosům využití příběhů, způsobům jejich prezentace, kritériím, podle kterých lze příběh vybrat, a zahrnuje také aktivity, které lze ve spojení s příběhy využít v různých částech hodiny. Praktická část se zabývá výzkumem, který byl realizován prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření s žáky třetího a pátého ročníku základní školy. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, jaké žánry a témata příběhů by si žáci pro výuku anglického jazyka zvolili a jaké aktivity ve spojení s příběhy preferují. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumu a doporučení do praxe.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis diploma thesis focuses on using storytelling in teaching primary school pupils. The theoretical part deals with storytelling as a method of English teaching. It describes young learners and the specifics of teaching them English. It also includes the benefits of using stories in the English classroom, the ways of presenting stories, the criteria for choosing stories, and the activities that can be used before, during, and after the story. The practical part covers research which was realized through a survey among primary school pupils of the third and fifth grades. The aim of the research was to find out what genres and topics of stories would pupils choose and what activities related to stories they like the most. The results of the research suggest that teachers should thoroughly choose stories for English teaching according to the interests of young learners.en
