Abstract
Příspěvek je zaměřen na historii a současnost přípravy a využití ozonu na katedře chemie FPE ZČU v Plzni. Uvedeny jsou mnohaleté zkušenosti se zařazením tématu do výuky organické chemie a řešení kvalifikačních prací a několikaleté zkušenosti se zařazením tématiky do laboratorních cvičení z organické chemie. Pozornost je také věnována vlivu ozonu na životní prostředí a život současné společnosti. Tato problematika je sledována i pohledem středoškolského učitele.
The article focuses on the history and present of the preparation and use of ozone at the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry of the West Bohemian University in Pilsen. Many years of experience with including the topic in the teaching of organic chemistry and solving qualification papers and several years of experience with including the topic in laboratory exercises in organic chemistry are presented. Attention is moreover paid to the impact of ozone on the environment and the life of contemporary society. This issue is also observed from the perspective of a high school teacher.
