Košický Král Roger zanechal v Praze silný dojem

Abstract

Dalším hostem pražského festivalu hudebního divadla Opera 2025 byl soubor Národního divadla Košice, který 4. února ve Stavovském divadle provedl dílo Karola Szymanowského Král Roger. Na tvorbě libreta spolupracoval skladatel s Jaroslawem Iwaszkiewiczem. V tomto náročném díle moderní hudby zpívaly sólistky Gabriela Hrženjaková (Roxana) a Myroslava Havryliuková (Diakonka), dále pak sólisté Michał Partyka (Král Roger), Andrzej Lampert (Pastýř; pěvec vystoupil jako host), Maksym Kutsenko (Edrisi), Michal Onufer (Arcibiskup) a Oleksandr Tishchenko (mladý chlapec). Spoluúčinkoval dětský a smíšený sbor košické opery. Provedení řídil Peter Valentovič. Inscenace vznikla pod režijním vedením Antona Korenčiho. Představení aplaudovalo naplněné hlediště, jež ocenilo vysokou úroveň hudební interpretace i celkové obsahové vyznění opery.

Another guest of the Prague Musical Theatre Festival Opera 2025 was the ensemble of the National Theatre Košice, which performed Karol Szymanowski's King Roger at the Estates Theatre on 4 February. The composer collaborated with Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz on the libretto. This challenging work of modern music featured soloists Gabriela Hrzenjakova (Roxana) and Myroslava Havryliuk (Deaconess), as well as soloists Michał Partyka (King Roger), Andrzej Lampert (The Shepherd; the singer appeared as a guest), Maksym Kutsenko (Edrisi), Michal Onufer (The Archbishop) and Oleksandr Tishchenko (The Young Boy). The children's and mixed choir of the Košice Opera performed together. The performance was conducted by Peter Valentovič. The production was created under the direction of Anton Korenči. The performance was applauded by a full auditorium, which appreciated the high level of musical interpretation and the overall content of the opera.
