| dc.description.abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou sociální práce s cizinci, konkrétně připraveností sociálních pracovníků pro tuto práci. Je rozdělená na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část je rozdělena do třech hlavních kapitol, pojednává o sociálních pracovnících pracujících s cizinci, o cílové skupině cizinců a nakonec přímo o sociální práci s cizinci. Cílem této části bylo prostřednictvím odborné literatury nastínit, jaké znalosti, dovednosti a vlastnosti by měl sociální pracovník pracující s cizinci mít. V praktické části jsem se zabývala výzkumem, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jak jsou připraveni budoucí a stávající sociální pracovníci pro práci s cizinci. Výzkumný vzorek zahrnuje celkem 35 studentů bakalářského a navazujícího magisterského oboru Sociální práce na ZČU v Plzni a 4 sociální pracovnice Poradny pro cizince a uprchlíky a Centra na podporu integrace cizinců zde v Plzni. Metodami výzkumného šetření jsou rozhovory, dotazníky a analýza dokumentů. Bylo zjištěno, že studenti i sociální pracovníci nejsou a nebyli v rámci studia připravováni pro přímou práci s cizinci, sociální pracovníci uvádějí, že k rozvoji jejich znalostí a dovedností došlo až v rámci zaměstnání, kde mají umožněn i další profesní a osobnostní rozvoj. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | This dissertation deals with the issues of social work with foreigners, specifically the preparedness of social workers for this job. The study consists of two parts: the theoretical part and the research. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters and is based on the study of scholarly literature. It concerns social workers who work with foreigners, the target group of foreigners and the specifics of social work with foreigners. The main aim of this part is to delineate what knowledge, skills and qualities should a social worker who works with foreigners have. The main aim of the research was to find out how the present and future social workers are prepared for work with foreigners. The research sample included 35 students of social work at the University of West Bohemia and 4 social workers of the Counselling Centre for Foreigners and Refugees and the Centre for the Support of the Integration of Foreigners in Pilsen. Methods used in the research were: interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The results reveal that neither the students nor the social workers were prepared for direct work with foreigners during their studies. Social workers stated that they developed their knowledge and skills only during their employment which gives them the opportunity of further professional and personal development. | en |
