| dc.description.abstract | Chápeme-li filmovou montáž jako jeden ze způsobů poznávání (dějinné) skutečnosti, jako jednu z forem myšlení, pak rovněž nahlížíme otázku svobody z nové perspektivy. Neboť montáž, volné přeskupování (obrazových) prvků, předpokládá svobodu, která se tak stává i podmínkou poznání. Avšak je třeba upřesnit, o jakou svobodu se jedná. Předkládaná studie ukazuje, na základě úvah Georgese Didi-Hubermana a Waltera Benjamina, že podmínkou montáže je svoboda rozhodnutí, a nikoli svoboda volby. Montážník se tedy k obrazům nevztahuje jako k možnostem, mezi nimiž volí, nýbrž chápe je na základě svobodného rozhodnutí konfigurace obrazů, která se mu v daný dějinný okamžik jeví jako nutná. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | If we understand film montage as one of the ways of gaining knowledge of (historical) realities, as one of the forms of thought, then we also look at the question of freedom from a new perspective. Montage, the free rearrangement of (pictorial) elements, presupposes freedom, which thus becomes also a condition of knowledge. However, we need to specify what freedom is at issue here. This study makes use of the thought of Georges Didi-Huberman and Walter Benjamin to show that a condition of montage is freedom of decision and not freedom of choice. The person creating the montage thus relates to the images not as possibilities from which to choose, but as a configuration of images that, on the basis of their free decision, seems to them at that moment in history to be necessary. | en |
