Abstract

Eneolitické dlouhé mohyly představují nejstarší pohřební monumenty v Evropě. Jsou o 1000 a více let starší než egyptské pyramidy a představují první památníky zemřelých předků, které byly na našem území budovány. Do dnešních dnů se ale nezachovaly. Na povrchu dnes po nich nezůstaly viditelné stopy, a tak byly v posledních stoletích zapomenuty. Moderní archeologický výzkum je ale znovu vpisuje do mapy krajiny.

Eneolithic long barrows represent the earliest funerary monuments in Europe. They are 1000 or more years older than the Egyptian pyramids and represent the first monuments to deceased ancestors that were built on our territory. However, they have not survived to this day. There are no visible traces of them on the surface today, and so they were forgotten in recent centuries. However, modern archaeological research is re-inscribing them on the map of the landscape.
