The finite element model of male pelvis which reflects the composite bone structure is developed. Both cortical and trabecular bone geometry are based on CT scans of the commercially available synthetic model of pelvis which is further applied within an experimental biomechanical study focusing on stability of selected minimally invasive fixation techniques. Results of the experimental measurements are utilised for verification of the computational model. In order to assess the robustness of the validated computational model, the computational study is extended for a geometrically different male pelvis based on CT scans of a real patient. Consistency of the achieved results is presented.en
