dc.description.abstractPráce shrnuje událostí na Karlovarsku za 2. světové války se zaměřením na židovské obyvatelstvo. Nejprve je v práci popsán příchod Židů do Čech. poté se věnuje historii Židů na Karlovarsku. Následně je rozebrána situace v roce 1938 v celém pohraničí, poté se práce zabývá událostmi v jednotlivých městech a jaký měla na jednotlivá města dopad Křišťálová noc Karlovarského kraje. V práci jsou popsána židovská omezení a část je věnována koncentračním táborům a vzpomínkám těch, kteří si prošli koncentračními tábory, či protižidovským útlakem.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis work deals with the persecution of Jews during the second World War in Karlovy Vary. This work is opening by chapter about the arrival of the Jews in Bohemia and their settling in the country. After that it analyzes the individual districts in the Karlovy Vary region, where a lesser or greater extent, Jews were active. An important part of the work is course of the year 1938 in the border region. Then the work describes the year 1938 in Karlovy Vary and Cheb, for Jews was this year a turning point. Then there is disassamble the "Kristallnacht" in some cities in Karlovy Vary. Because the work is focused on the persecution of the Jews, an integral part of the work is the chapter about oppression and restriction of the Jewish population and as a follow-up on analyzes it describes several concentration camps. In the last chapter are written a few memories of this difficult period.en
