| dc.description.abstract | Cílem diplomové práce je představit environmentální estetiku a hlavní myšlenkové teze Allena Carlsona. Úvod práce se věnuje pěti bodům Carlosonovy kritiky tradiční estetiky. K této kritice jsou připojeny myšlenky dalších environmentálních estetiků Malcolma Budda a Yuriky Saito. Další část se zabývá rolí estetiků v ochraně přírody. Zde práce čerpá z myšlenek Yrjö Sepänmaa a Emily Brady. Posledním zahraničním estetikem je Arnold Berleant, který tvrdí, že ekologie může být rozhodujícím prvkem v oblasti estetiky. "Zohlednění životního prostředí z ekologického hlediska transformuje naše chápání." V kapitole "Česká reflexe filozofie ekologie" jsou představeni tři čeští filozofové zaměřující se na vztah filozofie k životnímu prostředí a ekologické krizi. Jedná se o Rudolfa Kolářského, Petra Jemelka a Josefa Šmajse. Tato kapitola zkoumá roli filozofie v době, která je od 60. let označována jako období ekologické krize. Závěr kapitoly je věnován Ondřeji Dadejíkovi a publikaci Česká estetika přírody ve středoevropském kontextu. Poslední část se zaměřuje na otázky, zda a jak se environmentální estetické myšlení projevuje v umělecké praxi. Pro potřeby této kapitoly byly vybráni dva čeští umělci na jejichž dílech jsou demonstrovány myšlenky výše zmíněných environmentálních estetiků. Jedná se o díla Václava Ciglera a Lukáše Gavlovského. Jedním ze základních bodů práce je představení základních teoretických přístupů k environmentální estetice a jejího propojení s ekologií, v probíhající ekologické krizi. Práce poukazuje na přístupy a možnosti, jak této problematice čelit v souvislosti s uměleckou praxí a environmentální estetikou. Zaměřuje se i na propojení estetiky a etiky, nebo chceme-li, estetické hodnocení a naše morální soudy. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of the thesis is to introduce the environmental aesthetics and the main ideas of Allen Carlson. The introduction focuses on Carlson's five points critique of traditional aesthetics. This critique is extended by the ideas of other environmental aestheticians, Malcolm Budd and Yurika Saito. The next part is devoted to the question what is the role of the aestheticians in protection of the environment. In this section, main ideas of Yrjö Sepänma and Emily Brady are pointed out. The last foreign aesthetician is Arnold Berleant, who argues that ecology can be a decisive element in the field of aesthetics: "Taking the environment into account from an ecological point of view transforms our understanding." In the following chapter entitled 'Czech Reflections on the Philosophy of Ecology', three Czech philosophers focusing on the relationship of philosophy to the environment and the ecological crisis are introduced: Rudolf Kolářský, Petr Jemelka and Josef Šmajs. The aim of this chapter is to examine the role of philosophy in the ecological crisis, which has been going on since the 1960s. The conclusion of the chapter focuses on Ondřej Dadejík and the publication 'Czech Aesthetics of Nature in the Central European Context'. The last chapter is dedicated to the questions whether and how environmental aesthetic thinking manifests itself in the art. Two Czech artists are introduced, Václav Cigler and Lukáš Gavlovský. Their works demonstrate the ideas of the above-mentioned environmental aestheticians. The fundamental aim of the thesis is the introduction of basic theoretical approaches to environmental aesthetics and its connection to ecology, in the ongoing ecological crisis. Thesis points out the approaches and possibilities of how to face this issue in connection with artistic practice and environmental aesthetics. It also focuses on the connection between aesthetics and ethics, or, if we like, aesthetic evaluation and our moral judgments. The essential point of the thesis is the introduction of basic theoretical approaches to environmental aesthetics and its connection with ecology in the ongoing ecological crisis. I pointed out approaches and possibilities of facing this issue in connection with artistic practice and environmental aesthetics. I focused on the relationship between aesthetics and ethics, aesthetic evaluation and our moral judgments. | en |
