dc.description.abstract-translatedCooperation at municipal level, it means common action of public and private actors. Joint effort to regional development is the main reason for collaboration of municipalities. We can see many forms of cooperation currently in the Czech Republic. Estabilishment of the frame for joint action was initiated by mucinipalities and their actual needs that have been often satisfied through cooperation. For overcoming obstacles it is necessary to permanently estabilish and develop new and more eficient forms of common actions of minicipalities and cities. Objectives and participants of some initiatives are often overlapping – it weakens their efficiency and causes that membership and activity of some participants is only formal. It is essential for development of cooperation to define basic factors influencing collaborative process and focus on internal mechanisms of cooperation, which is key factor for progress. Territorial principle that determines the character of microregions is an integral part of cooperation at municipal level. It means that territorial principle is one the most foundamental elements for future cooperation of municipalities especially in the field of environment and tourism. Based on the theoretical bases of the target was set, which was carried out quantitative and qualitative field research.en
