dc.description.abstract-translatedThe article discusses the possibilities of representing parties in court proceedings according to canon law. It distinguishes between two types of representation before the church court, through a procurator for litigation or an advocate. It approximates the characteristics of individual methods of legal representation. It lists the basic requirements that representatives must meet, in particular the specific requirements placed on advocates. The next part is dedicated to the rights and obligations of procurators for litigation and advocates in procedural proceedings. The article does not even omit the similarities or fundamental differences between canon and secular law.en
