Semjon Byčkov nabídl České filharmonii nový pohled na Novosvětskou

Abstract

Česká filharmonie nabídla posluchačům na druhém plánovaném dvořákovském večeru v této sezóně autorovu orchestrální předehru Karneval, po níž následoval Koncert pro klavír a orchestr g moll. Druhou polovinu večera vyplnila světoznámá Symfonie č. 9 e moll „Z Nového světa“. Sólistou v klavírním koncertu byl věhlasný András Schiff, za dirigentský pult se postavil Semjon Byčkov. Všechny skladby zaznamenaly velký úspěch u publika, jehož valná část se v závěru při potlesku postavila.

The Czech Philharmonic offered the audience the author's orchestral overture Carnival, followed by the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in G minor, at the second scheduled Dvořák evening this season. The second half of the evening was filled with the world-famous Symphony No. 9 in E minor "From the New World". The soloist in the piano concerto was the renowned András Schiff, with Semyon Byčkov at the conductor's console. All pieces were a great success with the audience, a large part of which stood up at the end during the applause.
