Les termes amalgamés en –(g)(i)ciel en français actuel

Abstract

L’objectif de la contribution est de présenter de manière générale la problématique des termes en-iciel (plus précisément les formes en -iciel, mais aussi en -ciel, -iel ou -giciel) en français contemporain.Le formant -iciel et ses formes mentionnées ci-dessus apparaissent au XXe siècle et servent à créer desnoms masculins désignant des types de programmes informatiques tels que : abandogiciel / abandongiciel,cryptorançongiciel, espiogiciel, grogiciel, inflagiciel, intergiciel, microgiciel, micrologiciel, partagiciel, plugiciel,progiciel, rançongiciel etc. Ces termes peuvent constituer des formations propres à la langue française ouêtre créés pour remplacer leurs homologues anglais. Cette réalité fait partiellement l’objet de nos analysesde corpus.

Studie se zabývá otázkou složených tvarů končících na -(g)(i)ciel v současné francouzštině. Úvodní část článkuse zabývá tímto tématem z lexikologického, lexikografického a terminologického hlediska. Hlavní část článkuse opírá o příklady výrazů z korpusů Néoville a Aranea. Tyto zdroje umožňují identifikovat rozdílynebo podobnosti v používání francouzských a anglických termínů v různých frankofonních regionech, protože oba citované korpusyumožňují měřit frekvenci termínů v diatopických variantách francouzštiny.

The aim of this study is to broadly address the issue of compound terms ending in -(g)(i)ciel, distinguishingit from other forms, especially -ciel, -iel, or -giciel, in contemporary French. The introductory section of the articleexplores the topic from lexicological, lexicographic, and terminological perspectives. The main body of the paperrelies on excerpts from the Néoville and Aranea corpora. These sources allow for the identification of differencesor similarities in the use of French and English terms across various Francophone regions, as both cited corporaenable the measurement of term frequency in diatopic varieties of French. The findings highlight the predominanceof English-origin terms in French literature, a trend also supported by Google NGrams data, despite the significantpresence of terms like intergiciel, maliciel, partagiciel, and synergiciel in various dictionaries and their varying usagefrequencies.
