dc.description.abstractThis bachelor thesis deals with orthographic variants in the current German orthography. Bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the orthography is defined, the development of German orthography and its recent reforms are described. The practical part covers the quantitative analysis of selected orthographic variants. The Method of the corpus analysis is explained, used corpora are listed. The objective of the thesis is to determine the frequency of occurrence of orthographic variants within the DWDS-corpus.cs
