Abstract
Další abonentní koncert České filharmonie vyplnilo oratorium Roberta Schumanna Ráj a Peri. V pražském Rudolfinu jej 20. dubna 2023 provedl zmíněný orchestr, Pražský filharmonický sbor a zahraniční sólisté: sopranistky Christiane Karg a Johanna Wallroth, mezzosopranistka Avery Amereau, tenorista Andrew Staples, nejníže položené partie zazpíval Ashley Riches. Provedení řídil Daniel Harding. Naplněné auditorium v závěru večera ocenilo obětavý výkon všech interpretů ve prospěch závažného díla.
The next subscription concert of the Czech Philharmonic was filled with Robert Schumann's oratorio Paradise and Peri. On 20 April 2023 it was performed at the Rudolfinum in Prague by the aforementioned orchestra, the Prague Philharmonic Choir and foreign soloists: sopranos Christiane Karg and Johanna Wallroth, mezzo-soprano Avery Amereau, tenor Andrew Staples, and Ashley Riches sang the lowest parts. The performance was conducted by Daniel Harding. At the end of the evening, the packed auditorium appreciated the dedication of all the performers to a serious work.
