| dc.description.abstract | Tento článek je věnován Josefu Strnadovi, zakladateli moderního archivnictví a historiografie v Plzni, a jeho korespondenci s významnými historiky a kolegy té doby. Byl historikem „Gollovy školy“ a středoškolským učitelem. Jeho korespondence je významným historickým pramenem nejen pro dějiny Plzně. Ukazuje historický diskurz doby a profesní rétoriku těchto pozitivistických vědců. Veškerá zde uvedená korespondence pochází z fondů Archivu města Plzně. He was a historian of the "Goll school" and a secondary school teacher. His correspondence is an important historical source not only for the history of Pilsen. It shows the historical discourse of the time and the professional rhetoric of these positivist scientists.
