Komorní řada koncertů Symfonického orchestru hlavního města Prahy FOK připravila na sobotní večer 27. ledna v pražském Rudolfinu koncert Yulianny Avdeevy, ruské pianistky, jedné ze čtyř vítězek v historii Chopinovy klavírní soutěže ve Varšavě. Klavíristka interpretovala nevšedním způsobem repertoár obsahující díla romantiků Fryderyka Chopina a Franze Liszta, modernistů Władysława Szpilmana a Mieczysława Weinberga, současně též kompozici postmodernisty Valentina Silvestrova. Vynikající hra, objevný program i sympatické vystupování sólistky podnítily dlouhé ovace publika, za které se umělkyně odvděčila dvěma přídavky.The Prague Symphony Orchestra's chamber concert series FOK has prepared a concert by Yulianna Avdeeva, a Russian pianist, one of the four winners in the history of the Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, for Saturday evening 27 January at the Rudolfinum in Prague. The pianist interpreted in an unusual way a repertoire including works by the Romantics Fryderyk Chopin and Franz Liszt, the modernists Władysław Szpilman and Mieczysław Weinberg, and at the same time the compositions of the postmodernist Valentin Silvestrov. The excellent playing, the revelatory programme and the soloist's sympathetic performance prompted a long ovation from the audience, for which the artist repaid with two encores.
