| dc.description.abstract-translated | Based on an economic analysis of the new legislation (Lex RES I, II and III) and on some very partial information on the actual reactions to the already adopted changes in the law, the text tries to define the potential impact of the new energy legislation on the development of community energy in the Czech Republic and on the future investments of potential participants in RES. As a result of the state-of-the-art investigation, it is then assumed that the new legislation already in force has a positive impact on the creation of energy communities and, as a result, also has some potential to trigger new investments in RES. At the same time, it is pointed out that part of the legislation is still in the phase of approval of the amendment of the relevant laws, which means that the impact of these regulations will depend on their final formulation. Therefore, for objective reasons, it is not yet possible to formulate any more precise conclusions on the extent to which the new legislation has really succeeded in strengthening investment activities and on the chances that it will do so in the future. Even so, from the available signals and from the economic analysis of the legislation, it is possible to assume that the series of amendments to the Energy Act has so far played a rather positive role.
