dc.description.abstract	Tato práce nese název Funkce médií ve výuce cizích jazyků se zaměřením na interaktivní tabuli, je strukturována do několika kapitol. Teoretická část je zaměřena na obecnou definici pojmu médium, dále na klasifikaci médií z jednotlivých hledisek. Je zde popisována funkce médií, které mohou tyto technické prostředky ve výuce cizích jazyků plnit. V současné době je možné se setkat s pojmem "nová média", mezi která řadíme především počítač s připojením na internet a interaktivní tabulí, která jsou také blíže popsána, a to z různých hledisek. V praktické části je zkoumána efektivita jednotlivých druhů médií v cizojazyčné výuce.	cs
dc.description.abstract-translated	This bachelor thesis is called The Functions of Media in Teaching Foreign Language with a Focus on an Interactive Board. My work is structured into several chapters. The theoretical part is concerned with the term media generally. It presents some definitions, which are taken from books and internet sources. I characterize functions that media can fulfil in teaching foreign language. In following chapter I classify media into certain groups according to various criterions. I categorise the basic sorting of media as visual, audio and audiovisual. In connection to this, I mention that there is a possibility to meet with a new designation ?new media?. Nowadays the well-known new media are mainly a computer with an internet connection and an interactive board, which is very useful for teaching foreign languages. In accordance with my writing I focus on an interactive board from sundry viewpoints. I describe the technical point of view, how to use this technical tool in a lesson and what are its advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part, I survey how an interactive board affects students in learning foreign language and the popularity of this technical tool among students comparing with other media. From my survey, it is evident that an interactive board has a positive influence on students? success and it is very popular among students.	en
