dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá úrovní finanční gramotnosti studentů středních škol v Karlovarském kraji. Cílem práce je zjistit a analyzovat úroveň finanční gramotnosti studentů středních škol v Karlovarském kraji, a zároveň identifikovat případné rozdíly v úrovni znalostí mezi jednotlivými skupinami studentů. Výzkum byl realizován formou dotazníkového šetření, kterého se zúčastnilo 350 respondentů ze tří okresů a různých typů středních škol. Dotazník byl rozdělen do tří tematických oblastí - peněžní, rozpočtové a cenové - a ověřoval jak teoretické znalosti, tak praktické dovednosti studentů. Výsledky byly analyzovány pomocí statistických metod, včetně Kruskal-Wallisova testu, Mann-Whitneyho testu a chí-kvadrát testů nezávislosti. Výzkum prokázal statisticky významné rozdíly v dosažených výsledcích mezi studenty podle typu školy a tematické oblasti. Naopak nebyly potvrzeny významné souvislosti s proměnnými, jako jsou okres, pohlaví, vlastní příjem či účast na výuce finanční gramotnosti. Byl však prokázán vztah mezi subjektivním hodnocením vlastní gramotnosti a skutečně dosaženými výsledky. Práce poukazuje na nerovnoměrnou úroveň finanční gramotnosti a zdůrazňuje potřebu systematického finančního vzdělávání na středních školách.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis examines the level of financial literacy among high school students in the Karlovy Vary Region. The aim of the thesis is to identify and analyse the financial literacy level of these students, and to determine whether there are differences in knowledge levels between specific student groups. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey involving 350 respondents from three districts and various types of secondary schools. The questionnaire was divided into three thematic areas - monetary, budgeting, and pricing - and tested both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The results were analysed using statistical methods, including the Kruskal-Wallis test, Mann-Whitney test, and chi-square tests of independence. The findings showed statistically significant differences in the results based on school type and thematic area. However, no significant associations were found with variables such as district, gender, personal income, or participation in financial literacy instruction. A relationship was found between students' self-assessment of their financial literacy and their actual performance. The thesis highlights the uneven level of financial literacy and emphasizes the need for systematic financial education in secondary schools.en
