| dc.description.abstract-translated | In 2019, the European Union issued a directive on transparent and predictable working conditions in the European Union. Although it should have been transposed into the Czech legal order already in August 2022, it has not yet happened. An amendment to the Act No. 262/2006 Coll., Labor Code is currently being discussed, which aims, among other things, to implement the directive‘s requirements into Czech labor law. The purpose of the contribution is to evaluate how the proposed legislation responds to the obligations set by the directive and, above all, how it manages not to fulfill the purpose of the mentioned directive. | en |
