dc.description.abstractPředložená práce je zaměřena na fungování startupů s důrazem na internetové startupy a jejich podnikatelský model. V teoretické části se definují základní pojmy a vysvětluje se, jaká jsou specifika startupů oproti tradičnímu pojetí firem, jaké metodiky se používají pro jejich řízení a k jakým změnám dochází v této oblasti v posledních letech. Praktická část obsahuje souhrn prací na internetovém startupu SportCentral, jehož zakladatelem je autor této práce. Následují základní informace o projektu prostřednictvím tzv. elevator pitche. V další kapitole se autor věnuje tvorbě podnikatelského modelu SportCentralu pomocí metodiky Lean Startup a nástroje Lean Canvas. Následně je představen tým, který na startupu pracuje, a jsou nastíněny další kroky, které budou na SportCentralu realizovány. Závěr shrnuje práci jako celek a diskutuje její přínosy.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe submitted thesis is focused on management of startup companies with emphasis on internet startups and their business model. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic concepts and explains specifics of startups compared to traditional companies, also methodologies used in their management, and recent changes in this area. The practical part contains a summary of work done on SportCentral, the author?s own internet startup. This summary is followed by startup?s brief introduction through an elevator pitch. Next chapter deals with formation of the business model of SportCentral using the Lean Startup methodology and Lean Canvas. Afterwards, the team responsible for the startup is introduced and future steps in development of SportCentral are outlined. The conclusion summarizes the thesis as a whole and presents its benefits.en
