dc.description.abstractThe study presents the results of a non-destructive archaeological survey around historical ironworking settlements Strašice and Dobřív in Brdy Mountains Region in the western part of Central Bohemia, the Czech Republic. Based on a systematic prospection of aerial laser scanning data and analysis of both cartographic and written historical sources, it aims to map out and evaluate the archaeological features in the landscape around these two proto-industrial and industrial centres in the region which has a rich ironworking tradition reaching to the 14th century.en
