Abstract
Do orchestrálního cyklu koncertů v roce 2025 Prague Philharmonia bylo zařazeno i provedení děl Carla Marii von Webera, Richarda Wagnera a Gustava Mahlera v Dvořákově síni pražského Rudolfina 27. dubna 2025. Orchestr řídil jeho šéfdirigent Emmanuel Villaume, sólistou večera byl americký basbarytonista Nicholas Brownlee. Naplněný sál dlouho aplaudoval všem interpretovaným skladbám. Provedení Mahlerových písní z cyklu Chlapcův kouzelný roh vyznělo jako silný protiválečný apel.
The Prague Philharmonia's 2025 orchestral concert series included a performance of works by Carl Maria von Weber, Richard Wagner and Gustav Mahler in the Dvořák Hall of Prague's Rudolfinum on 27 April 2025. The orchestra was led by its chief conductor Emmanuel Villaume, with American bass-baritone Nicholas Brownlee as soloist for the evening. The packed hall applauded for a long time for all the pieces performed. The performance of Mahler's songs from the cycle The Boy's Magic Horn sounded like a strong anti-war appeal.
