Abstract
Po triumfu České filharmonie v Carnegie Hall se orchestr opět představil pražskému publiku v Rudolfinu 18. prosince 2024 s novým programem. Dirigoval jej ve svém pražském debutu Alan Gilbert. Sólistou večera byl klavírista Kirill Gerstein. V jeho interpretaci zazněl Mozartův Koncert pro klavír a orchestr č. 20 d moll K 466. Větší část programu pak vyplnily skladby dánského pozdního romantika Carla Nielsena. Americký dirigent je na interpretaci jeho díla specialistou. Pražskému publiku představil předehru Helios a pozdní Symfonii č. 5. Dramaturgie koncertu i jeho realizace byly přijaty početným publikem s velkými sympatiemi.
After the triumph of the Czech Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall, the orchestra will again present a new programme to the Prague audience at the Rudolfinum on 18 December 2024. Alan Gilbert conducted it in his Prague debut. The soloist of the evening was pianist Kirill Gerstein. His interpretation included Mozart's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 20 in D minor, K 466. The greater part of the programme was filled with compositions by the Danish late romantic Carl Nielsen. The American conductor is a specialist in the interpretation of his works. He presented the Prague audience with the Helios Overture and the late Symphony No. 5.
