| dc.description.abstract | Buddhismus představuje jedno z nejrozšířenějších univerzálních náboženství, které je v současné době stále více aktuální i v oblastech západního světa. Hlavní inspirací pro zpracování této bakalářské práce však pro mne byla snaha o zachycení počátků šíření a historického pronikání buddhismu do zemí Evropy včetně českého prostředí. Téma mé bakalářské práce pojednává v prvé řadě o historickém konceptu vzniku a šíření buddhismu a současně nahlédne na historii českého buddhismu v rozmezí 19. až 21. století. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this thesis is to explore and evaluate the position of Buddhism in European and Czech Cultures from the Ancient Times to the current 21st century. In the first part, a brief overview of Buddhism Origins as a religious movement based on the teachings of Siddharta Gautama is presented. The Bachelor´s thesis further describes the development and separation of Buddhism and it´s Three Buddhism Councils. The thesis then outlines the Buddhism in the Czech Republic and it provides an overview of a selection of the most famous Czech indologists. In conclusion, the thesis highlights the biggest Czech Buddhism organizations and shows the Buddhism in the 21st century. | en |
