dc.description.abstractVýzkumným tématem této diplomové práce je brexit pohledem Evropské unie a České republiky. Záměrem diplomové práce je poskytnout ucelený přehled o vztahu Spojeného království k Evropské unii a rozšířit poznatky o problematice brexitu, která s ohledem na svou aktuálnost není zcela zpracována. V návaznosti na tento záměr a výzkumné téma si autor stanovil čtyři cíle, a to: charakterizovat postoj Spojeného království k evropské ekonomické integraci; analyzovat a zhodnotit současný vztah mezi Evropskou unií (potažmo Českou republikou) a Spojeným královstvím; analyzovat a zhodnotit připravenost vybraných českých firem na brexit a navrhnout doporučení pro vybrané firmy k rozvoji ekonomických aktivit se Spojeným královstvím. Diplomovou práci tvoří sedm kapitol. První kapitola obsahuje teoretická východiska k tématu ekonomické integrace. Kapitola 2 se zaměřuje na vývoj integračního procesu, který je mapován s důrazem na postoje Spojeného království k integračním aktivitám v západní Evropě. Třetí kapitola se orientuje na samotný proces brexitu a analyzuje Dohodu o obchodu a spolupráci. Analýza ekonomických vztahů Spojeného království a České republiky je uvedena ve čtvrté kapitole. Design výzkumu obsahující formulaci výzkumného problému za pomoci odpovědí na otázky co?, jak? a proč? je uveden v kapitole 5. Těžištěm práce je šestá kapitola, která analyzuje připravenost vybraných českých firem na brexit. Kapitola obsahuje výsledky provedeného výzkumu, který byl rozdělen do dvou částí. První část výzkumu byla realizována v říjnu a v listopadu 2020 a druhá v únoru a v březnu 2021. Na základě provedené analýzy Dohody o obchodu a spolupráci a informací, které poskytly dotázané firmy, byl v sedmé kapitole sestaven seznam doporučení a rad pro oslovené firmy obchodující se Spojeným královstvím. V práci byla použita kvalitativní a kvantitativní data, která autor čerpal z odborné literatury, webových stránek veřejných institucí, vládních i nevládních organizací a z veřejně dostupných statistických databází mezinárodních organizací.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe research topic of this diploma thesis is Brexit from the perspective of the European Union and the Czech Republic. The aim of the diploma thesis is to give a comprehensive overview of the relationship of the United Kingdom to the European Union and to expand knowledge about the issue of Brexit, which, given its relevance, has not yet been fully described. Following this intention and research topic, the author sets four goals, which are the following: to characterize the United Kingdom's attitude to European economic integration; to analyze and evaluate the current relationship between the European Union (Czech Republic) and the United Kingdom; analyze and evaluate the readiness of selected Czech companies for Brexit and propose recommendations for the selected companies with the purpose of developing economic activities with the United Kingdom. The diploma thesis consists of seven chapters. The first chapter contains a theoretical basis on the topic of economic integration. The second chapter focuses on the development of the integration process, which is mapped with an emphasis on the United Kingdom's attitudes towards integration activities in Western Europe. The third chapter focuses on the Brexit process itself and analyzes the Trade and Cooperation Agreement. An analysis of the economic relations between the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic is presented in the fourth chapter. Research design containing a description of a research problem to help answer questions what? how? and why? is characterized in the fifth chapter. The focus of the thesis is the sixth chapter, which analyzes the readiness of selected Czech companies for Brexit. This chapter contains the results of conducted research, which was divided into two parts. The first part of the research was carried out in October and November 2020 and the second in February and March 2021. Based on the conducted analyzes of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement provided by involved companies, a list of recommendations was assembled in Chapter seven for companies trading with the United Kingdom. For the purpose of this thesis qualitative and quantitative data were used, which the author drew from the literature, websites of public institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations and publicly available statistical databases of international organizations.en
