dc.description.abstract-translatedRubber components usually exhibit changes in their mechanical properties that accumulate over their service life and often determine the need for replacement. This article deals with chemical ageing coupled with mechanical loading. During chemical ageing, changes in the chemical structure of the material lead to alterations in its stiffness and gradual evolution of permanent deformations. The dynamic network model is used to capture these changes together with the generalized Yeoh model as the strain energy potential. A new set of measurements is presented together with a multiple-step calibration procedure.en
