dc.description.abstractCílem bakalářské práce je interpretovat rituály smrti v alžbětinském dramatu v kontextu anglikánské církve. Úvodní část práce je zaměřena na vyobrazení kulturně historického prostředí a života obyvatel raně novověké Anglie s ohledem na změny v církevní doktríně, načež jsou rovněž charakterizovány dobové pohřební rituály. Další část práce se soustředí na roli alžbětinského divadla ve společnosti a analyzuje vybraná dramata významných autorů, jakými byli Shakespeare, Kyd, Marlowe a Greene. Závěrečná část práce je věnována komparaci divadelní interpretace pohřebních obřadů s praktikami nově vzniklé anglikánské církve.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe intention of the bachelor thesis is the interpretation of rituals of death in Elizabethan drama in the context of the Church of England. The initial part of the thesis is focused on the representation of the cultural-historical conditons of the population of Engalnd in the early modern period, considering the changes in the Christian doctrine, thereupon the contemporary rituals of death are described as well. The following part of the thesis concentrates on the role of Elizabethan drama in society and analyzes the selected plays of such significant playwrights as Shakespeare, Kyd, Marlowe and Greene. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to comparison of the theatrical interpretation of burial ceremonies and the actual practices of the newly formed Church of England.en
