Doklady pravěkého osídlení v areálu hradu Příběničky, okr. Tábor

Abstract

Lokalita Příběničky byla dosud spojována především se zbytky středověkého hradu a přilehlého opuštěného středověkého města. Soubor artefaktů nalezených při povrchovém průzkumu však testuje i pravěké využití tohoto skalnatého hřebene nad řekou Lužnicí, zejména v době bronzové a halštatské. Nelze vyloučit, že lokalita byla opevněna v mladším pravěku. Absence prehistorických pozůstatků může být dobře způsobena stavbou hradu a přilehlého města ve středověku.

The site of Příběničky has so far mainly been associated with the remains of the medieval castle and the adjacent abandoned medieval town. However, a collection of artefacts found during surface exploration also testifies to the prehistoric use of this rocky ridge above the Lužnice River, especially during the Bronze Age and Hallstatt period. It cannot be ruled out that the site was fortified in the more recent prehistoric period. The absence of prehistoric remains may be well due to the construction of the castle and the adjoining town in the Middle Ages.
