Negation im Deutschen und im Tschechischen

Abstract

This bachelor thesis called "Negation in German and Czech language" deals with German theory about negation and then with problems that negation makes the Czech people. It is divided into two parts, the first one is only the theory, and the other one is about problems, which have the Czech learners by learning German language. The goal of this thesis is an overview of German negation and comparison with Czech language and Czech rules. The first part is about German negation and differences among negative words, which where to use. The main part and the basic goal is a description of differences between German and Czech rules and problems of negation for Czech students. For these parts were used grammar books written by Duden, Eisenberg or Buscha / Helbig and then for the comparison with Czech language also books written by Jungwirth, Dusilová or Povejšil. At the end of this thesis is a part, where are opinions of German language teachers at secondary schools, about problems that have Czech students with negation.
