Stanovení vybraných parametrů Ferdinandova pramene a transformace do výuky chemie

Abstract

Chemie je přírodní vědou založenou na experimentu a je tedy vhodné hledat nové možnosti, jak obměnit a doplnit portfolio praktických cvičení, které je možné provádět na školách. Zajímavým zdrojem inspirace může být oblast aplikované analytické chemie. Pokud je cílem analýzy reálný vzorek, který je studentům důvěrně známý, může to také zvýšit jejich zájem.V západních Čechách mohou být takovým vzorkem různé vývěry minerálních vod. Příspěvek je věnován především sledování několika vybraných parametrů Ferdinandova pramene v Mariánských Lázních. Jsou diskutovány jak možnosti využití vybraných postupů jako experimentální činnosti ve výuce chemie, tak hodnocení získaných výsledků, a to i v souvislostech s geografií či biologií.

Chemistry is a natural science based on experiment, and it is therefore appropriate to look for new ways to renew and complement the portfolio of practical exercises that can be carried out in schools. The field of applied analytical chemistry can be an interesting source of inspiration. If the target of the analysis is a real sample that is familiar to the students, this may also increase their interest.In western Bohemia, such a sample can be various mineral water springs. The paper is mainly devoted to the monitoring of several selected parameters of Ferdinand's spring in Mariánské Lázně. The possibilities of using the selected procedures as an experimental activity in chemistry teaching as well as the evaluation of the obtained results, also in the context of geography or biology, are discussed.
