dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá trestní politikou České republiky a jejími proměnami od počátků formování moderního trestního práva po současnost. Práce zkoumá nejen legislativní rámec a jeho vývoj od 90. let 20. století, ale i širší společenské, kulturní a ekonomické aspekty, které trestní politiku ovlivňují. Analyzuje vliv demokratizace, vstupu do EU a mezinárodních standardů, a to i s ohledem na základní principy trestního práva. Cílem je zhodnotit účinnost nástrojů trestní politiky, jako jsou prevence, tresty a resocializace, a identifikovat faktory, které ovlivňují její formování a dopad na společnost.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis examines the criminal policy of the Czech Republic and its transformations from the beginnings of the formation modern criminal law to the present. It explores not only the legislative framework and its development since the 1990s but also the broader social, cultural, and economic aspects influencing criminal policy. It analyses the impact of democratization, accession to the EU, and international standards, including with regard to the basic principles of criminal law. The aim is to assess the effectiveness of criminal policy instruments, such as prevention, penalties, and resocialization, and to identify the factors that influence its formation and impact on society.en
