dc.description.abstractCílem práce je zhodnotit připravenost České republiky na členství v eurozóně, zmapovat názory ekonomů, politiků a veřejnosti na vstup do eurozóny a posoudit, zda vstup do eurozóny přinese České republice spíše přínosy nebo rizika. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola definuje měnovou unii a obecné důsledky členství v měnové unii. Druhá kapitola se věnuje samotné eurozóně, součástí této kapitoly je také vymezení konvergenčních kritérií. Třetí kapitola se zabývá o přípravách České republiky do eurozóny, kde je charakterizována současná úroveň konvergence ČR s ostatními členy eurozóny a popisuje plnění Maastrichtských konvergenčních kritérií v ČR. Čtvrtá kapitola zhodnocuje perspektivy ČR spojené se členstvím v eurozóně.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of this thesis is to evaluate the Czech Republic's readiness to join the Eurozone, to map the opinions of economists, politicians and the public on entering the Eurozone and to assess whether entry into the Eurozone will bring benefits or risks to the Czech Republic. This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter defines the monetary union and the general consequences of membership in the monetary union. Following chapter describes the Eurozone itself and defines the convergence criteria. The third chapter interprets the Czech Republic's preparations for joining the Eurozone, deals with the current level of convergence of the Czech Republic with other Eurozone members and describes the fulfilment of the Maastricht convergence criteria in the Czech Republic. The fourth chapter explores the perspectives of the Czech Republic connected with the membership in the Eurozone.en
